One month and a half journey… Chow!!!

......dudu..

......dudu..

You gotta be kidding me. I’m tired and exhausted, but still i need to post this. Perhaps this would be my last post for this few months. Tomorrow i’m going to Subang Jaya, and ill be staying at my sister’s home. I’ll be having a chance to meet my nephew once again. The next day, I’ll be attending a wedding. Then the other next day ill be back at my campus, Kuantan. Even though when people asked me whether i’m eager to when back to Kuantan, i would say “yes i miss it so much”, when for real i rather stay at home, and hangout with my Kelantanese buddies. But life must go on. By the way, right now Zubair Faramir is no longer in Kelantan, he has moved to Seberang Perai, Penang.

While im writing this post, basically im chatting with Sab, and at the same time with Syawal hafriz. The other msn members are all away. Sab told me that we are going to be segregated according to gender this semester. They are going to segregate the campuses. Boys will be leaving in Padang Lalang and girls will be staying in Bukit Sekilau. But the classes will still be mixed, or else there would be gays and lesbians cases occurring by leaps and bounds. But still this segregation will lead to its own pros and cons. It will avoid couples to see each other, which is a good thing. Avoid the “maksiat” thingy. “Mintak jauh la, bende2 camni”. “tolong la aku x buat mende2 camni”. At the same time the setback would be having difficulties in group discussions. “Group discussion la sangat:. But seriously buses will need to be prepared if this ought to happen.

Mind those silly things and now let me tell you what have happened today. Today i went shopping for a new pair of shoes, and i did also bought a new bag pack. As usual my father would be how you say it as a “bank begerak”. Either you take an advantage on the situation given , or you will be losing such a huge deal. On the way out of  The Store, there are people selling pirated dvds in front of it. The law is not so tough on them is it. “jual la banyak2, aku sokong la sangat-sangat. Orang-orang yang x de internet konfem x leh donlod, so beli je kat sini.

pirated dvd... baik punya

pirated dvds... baik punya

Later that night, while i was packing my bag, Kua called me. ” Wak gpo towwwwww?” . So i replied that question, by saying that i was doing nothing, whereby i was actually busy packing my stuff at that moment. Ohhh wait a mesage at msn. Syawal says: scarlett johnson is also a milf. ahahah “iklan je”. So then again let me continue.  Kua came to fetch me, and we went to KFC kubang kerian, and  we were hoping that  faris would be there, but he wasnt there. Looking at the cashier at the drive thru, we thought it was Faris being promoted to a higher rank, but it was not him. Basically not everyone knows who Faris is. Faris is a friend of mine, which i have known him at Sekolah Padang Garong 1( SKPG1). If im not mistaken he used to be a school singer before. An incident  have occurred at maher’s football field, which makes me feel quite inferior to him. It makes me hate him more. But looking at his situation now, i do pity him, and i do believe that  i am more superior than he is. So we ate to our heart’s content at KFC,

then we moved on to play snooker. What a game i tell you. I was  soooo lucky to win the first game, but the second game i went K.O.

gmba main snooker lagi.. haha

gmba main snooker lagi.. haha

So then, we stopped at Seven Eleven, and Syawal was asked to bought  us a few bottles of lemon spritzer. Then once again back at home.

Its been quite a  month and a half,  ive been staying at home. So its gonna be quite odd to wake up early at campus . During that period of holidays I’ve been downloading a few movies, and i have watched several of it. Fido, Juno, Space Chimps, National Treasure 2, The Condemned, Wild Child, Resident Evil Degeneration, Robinson Crusoe, Don’t Mess with the Zohan, and so much more. A lot i tell you. But  I’m quite disappointed not to have finished watching prison break season 4, and dont even have a chance to watch a single episode of chuck season 2. Perhaps the next coming holiday would be the time to finish up these series.

Before going back to Kuantan i need to clean my mess up. Clean my room and wash the Bathroom up. I’ll be  having a few subjects which i’ll be facing this sem. Introduction to psychology as for example. lol

So then again thanks to everyone, my parents, family and friends for making my holiday quite a wholesome one. So I’ll be trying to update soon from Kuantan. Perhaps i’ll be onlining at Starbuck, Mc Donnalds or even at the Relax Cafe. Haha. Adios and Assalamualaikum. Pray for me that i could face this semester with a rock and roll in it. I wish my Kelantanese friends, Adlee Chang, Syawal, Kua, Sede and Kamal a pleaseant study at your colleges. LOL . See ya.

20 December 2008

Ohh yeahhhhh!!!. Its now 4.03 a.m in the morning.  I could still heard the “click” sound made by the mouse from the other pc . As usual, my brother, is still playing his favorite online game, Mosiang online. The air is so chilled, with a fan rotating above me. So this post would be a recap for what have happened today.

Today i woke up at about 1.30 p.m. Quite late . With nothing to do, i hit the couch and watched  tv all day long. When it was almost night, everybody was online, so basically a conference at YM was made. And an unfortunate boy became the joke of the day. A boy with a funny id, azer94_naruto. The boy deserves what he got,for what he has done, after being disrespectful towards us.

Later that day I went to dinner with my parents at D Village. We have a glass of orange juice and  a chicken pizza ordered. Basically the pizza was sort of a side dish. The main course was “nasi goreng ikan masin “.So this would be the first time to have dinner here, since i came back home. Wasn’t much of a change to the stall. But the customers are increasing though. Situated in front of  Hospital  Universiti Sains Malaysia, this stall is still running its business very well.

Later that night, then once again I went out with my friends to have supper.  Then again, this time we have an extra member with us, but with the absence of Adlee Chan. Adlee Chan was back at Subang. Suddenly my phone beeps with a message on it. ~~ Tuut! Tuut!  “Puah oh. LOL” by Adlee Chan. Haha.  Finally Fadil could join us. We went to Ban Dee and Hayaki  today. We keep talking, talking and gossiping till we were back at home. We talked about stuff which was  in the past, which was memorable, which was also very funny. Its fun though to remember something in the past. It would always make me closer to my friends. There’s no one who would understand me better than them. Our bond would be such an amazing book. We  talked for hours, even stuff like lalat’s clumsiness came to our attention. We even talked about our past duties as prefects. How we organized the benchmark, and how i fell on the bus. How it was a sweet and funny moment to talk about. Mostly we talked about crap, laugh ourselves out.

So that was my day. So i end it with a post. Perhaps  this could be a diary that could be remembered. Together with this post, is a video by Mariah Carey. Im not sure why. But recently, im in loved with this song. Or maybe perhaps this song remind me of someone.

Its just that this song is quite identical to a Malay song.  Listen to it, and you’ll fall in love with it. Enjoy and good night. ADIOS

The Voyage of Captain Bush: Going Down with shame

Posted in Uncategorized on December 19, 2008 by izwar

President Bush is going to step down from his office early next january, with the installation of the  new president Barack Obama, who is going to replace him. Captain Bush’s voyage from his ship, have been long time awaited by the world due to his policy on the Iraq war.  The Iraq war is being estimated by Bush administration to cost 50 billion dollar .Many Iraqis have suffered, and so do the American soldiers who go to war for nothing. But he leave his ship with some memory.

As we have  all known, 2 days ago we were shocked by a brave Iraqi reporter who threw shoes towards Captain Bush’s head. According to a source, in Iraq throwing shoes towards somebody, symbolizes hatred and insult. So suddenly Muntadar Al- Zeidi become a hero in the eyes of the Arab World. Muntadar’s case was brought to court.  He can, and will be charged for insulting a foreign leader and can be jailed for 2 years.

Saad Gumaa a man in Egypt offered Muntadar to marry her daughter, Amal. Amal is now studying in Minya University and she is 20 years old in age. Amal said that it would be an honour to marry a hero, and to live in Iraq. So there you have it.  The Arab world sees Muntadar as a hero, while president Bush as a dog.

On the 18th of December there was a protest made by an anti-war activist in front of the white house. The activist threw shoes towards their friend, which  was wearing  a mask of Josh Bush with a jail uniform.

At the same time on the 17th of December, a  computer game of shoe throwing  which was inspired by this memorable incident was launched in Paris. The game is called Sock and Awe, launched by a Britain, Alex Tew. You can find the game at this following adress. http://www.sockandawe.com

So basically what i can say is that Bush is so stupid. He got what he deserved for . Bush should not have been to Baghdad, after what he has done to it. The suffering and tears brought by him to Iraq. Humiliation and insult. Basically, I would like to quote my friend regarding this issue.

” Bush visit to Iraq is equal, to a visit made by a rapist to the home whom he has raped” -Adlee Chan

So Bush leave the office with something to remember about. Boo! boo!! boo!!! SHAME ON YOU……

The exam slip: thank you Allah

There’s nothing happier than to get a good result. My friends use to be this happy when they got their SPM results before. Syawal’s face for example was glowing that day, being nominated the best student. But mine wasnt so clear that day. Now its my turn. They use to came up with this equation:

good result > sleep > eat

this equation means that its more fascinating to have a good result than to sleep. Its more fun to sleep than to eat. It feels like heaven to achieve something. So basically my result can be described by looking at these pictures down here-:

Even though it wasnt so much compared to Sedan’s result whereby he got a 3.87 pointer, or not so wicked as fazul’s friends result which they got a pointer of 3.8 and above, but still this is a satisfactory to me. All praise to Allah..

AUKU: Does it make us stronger or weaker?

Posted in Uncategorized on December 17, 2008 by izwar

AUKU basically stands for “Akta Kolej dan Universiti” which applies in Malaysia. We know that this piece of law was introduced and geared by our great former prime minister Tun Mahathir Mohamed during his time as the Education Minister in the seventies. This act was then amended several time to suit the recent scenario.

The motive for this act basically is to forbid university students from being radically involved in politics, with the concern that they can focus more on their studies. But this AUKU does not stop us from being exposed to the politics. Yes according to it, we can organize debates about our Malaysian politics, and we could even fix a time table to meet the ministers or politician officially to discuss important matters. When i say “we”, it refers to university students. There you have it yes we still have space to voice our opinion out. But with a great freedom comes a great limitation. If according to our federal constitution(fc) article 10, gives us  the power to the freedom of speech and expression, and at the same time provided by the provision in the fc there are limitation to it. As long as we do not touch sensitive issues or even encouraging it, supporting  it or contributing towards endangering our national security, than its ok.

Are we that limited to politics? I dont think so, we are exposed to our own election, which is the inner election which take place in every university on earth, as for example in the International Islamic University Malaysia(IIUM) and Uitm. In IIUM  for example they have their own affirmative and negative. As you can see wee are given the power to choose the president for our university. So there you have it democracy plus the application of politics. Talking about democracy i would like to quote Abraham Lincoln,” democracy is of the people, by the people, for the people”.

But basically people are angry about AUKU  because it stops student from being a member of any politic parties. They are free to support any of them, but they are stopped from radically campaigning or supporting these parties, or even any action which could cause havoc or a great danger to our national security. That is why we have many act which limits our freedom as for example as this one AUKU, Internal Security Act(ISA), and Official Secrecy Act(OSA). Ironically at our age now, we can’t be registered as any member of any party either UMNO,DAP, MCA, MIC, Pas, or PKR, or else we’ll be expelled or been applied disciplinary action. So think about it so if you get an offer of money to be a member of this parties. So such law act as a control mechanism to stop people from abusing their freedom. From this control mechanism it will also protect other people. They stop you from causing havoc, so that other  people which are not involved will not be hurt. This is how law ought to be applied. It avoids you yourself from inflicting harm towards you or even other people.

As you can see the law amended is to  suit the government’s and party’s comfort zone. So these are the limitation which are  scared to make us student weak. Are we? In my own opinion, it does not make us weak. Still its not wrong for us to critic our politics or even having updated on information regarding about our favourite party. As long as we keep focus on our study, and dont be a radical one.

I would also love to touch about the limitation of age to be a member of parliament. As we are well informed, our parliament consist of bicameral body, which is the house of senate and the house of representative. According to the constitution, to be a member of house of representative, you need to be at least 21 years old, while to be a member of house of senate you must at least be 35 years old in age. And to vote you need to be registered and at least 21 years old in age. So basically this age limitation should also be considered in AUKU, but still the constitution provides other criteria to be followed by them.

Regarding about the pass issues on this matter, i ve heard that universities like UM use to have a tension, and a havoc have occurred due to it. It was a disagreement towards the government. And Uitm itself have its own story, whereby the students use to take over the campus chasing the authorities and superior officers out of it, until it have caused “akta  174″ to be amended. Basically “akta 174″ is just the same with AUKU, but it applies only in Uitm. Ive googled about this issue but cant find anything. So this just come from words of a few people. We can take this as an example to explain that we have such a strong power to influence or even effect our government.

So are weaker with AUKU? ask yourself. cant answer that. Its almost 5 a.m now, my father’s waking up. so better offline now. Before that i would like to share with you my whale of a time last night with my 3 closest buddiest. Sedan cant join us though because he is taking care of his father. We ve been to the finest wild restaurant which is the Food Village. Situated along the road on the way to the airport in Pengkalan Chepa.

a round river of soup filled with good stuff , and a mountain of bbq

So there you have it…. what a moment. We are all into politics. All four of us love to criticized the government, but not radically. We are so aware with the presence of law. So ADIOS. This is the longest post so far.

The difference with Mr skinny and the Group

Posted in Personal on December 14, 2008 by izwar

Within 2 consecutive movement of time, from one point to the another, from one state to the different one, from one experience which open to plenty of more, from 4 person to 1, have taught me a new lesson of the day. I learned that when someone is angry with you, just  leave him alone. Its been my nature to always spitting out the word “I’m sorry” after each fight. But Mr Skinny a person who i met in Kuantan taught me such a lesson. It was basically during the fasting month which my words make us fight. Such words like “dont eat” could basically hurt someone’s feeling. You bet we’re eating during the fasting period but we’re not. This happened during the break fast session. Silly right. But Mr Skinny is a person so impossible to forgive a person. Being friends with him for six months, was quite a terrible, funny, fun and memorable moment which has been captured and framed in my mind. So after the fight, ive been spitting the words “im sorry all” along. But it won’t work. By the way, i ve spitted those words almost everyday. Its been my habit that each day i would ask someone ” are you mad at me?”.  What a silly question to ask. Without any reason.

Basically its just a state of mind fearing people would hate you. Dont bother those thought no more, because it will eventually resolved by itself. When it was tomorrow is the date line to submit our assignment, he came to me, and we eventually work hand in hand. How I dont  basically need to apologize after the crime scene, but to apologize after the passing of the crime scene. This Mr Skinny, i bet you guys know, he is quite a cranky person. But when you get to know him, he is such a good friend. But still he is different from the Group.

When  i talked about the Group. Im referring to my friends back in Kelantan. There are a couple of them which have been my closest buddies . What im impressed was that they will never take advantage of you in what ever circumstances, even though there are also times that they cross the line and sometimes were on your nerves. But basically there was a huge different between this two entities: Mr Skinny and the Group. But still both holds an integrity in friendship. One is sensitive, and one is less sensible. But for sure a group would contribute more then just a single best friend. I hope I can tell you more about this two separate entity, but im just too lazy to type.

Ohhh before i forget something. Yesterday i went out to the beach and have a quite hell yeah moment with my friends. We ate ” jagung rebus” and some “colek”. Before the beach, we were at al ikhsan, window shopping as usual. And on the way we talk crap and stuff like “lady boss”. haha

PCB... not so beautiful as it was before LOL

PCB... not so beautiful as it was before LOL

So after the beach we hit the road, and utilized our time to give it “a try and error” on using a different route. And we end up finding ourself on a dead end, and trapped on the Mesopotamian era for quite several minutes. We then managed to escape from that village, back to the city, and back at home. Back at home tired and sleepy. What a weird day on a weird adventure. Life is unfair and its an adventure.

ingatku dalam doamu

Posted in Uncategorized on December 12, 2008 by izwar

Tatkala ku berjaga menunggu subuh hadir, jam di dekstop menunjukkan waktu sudah pukul 5.36 pagi. Baru sahaja selesai menonton filem animasi the chimps, baru sahaja selesai keluar bersama sama teman.

Kiranya engkau fahami hatiku
Tentunya kau akan menyedari

Aku merasa sungguh indah bersamamu tiap waktu
Kita bermesra… marah dan sayang
Rajuk dan rindu
Walaupun kita pernah merasa terluka dan terkilan
Namun hatiku masih menyintaimu sayang

Alangkah indah kehidupan ini
Seandai engkau terus bersamaku
Kiranya aku menyinggung hatimu
Maafkan diriku… oh sayang

Aku merasa sungguh indah bersamamu tiap waktu
Kita bermesra… marah dan sayang
Rajuk dan rindu
Walaupun kita pernah merasa terluka dan terkilan
Namun hatiku masih menyintaimu… sayang

Alangkah indah kehidupan ini
Seandai engkau terus bersamaku
Kiranya aku menyinggung hatimu
Maafkan diriku… oh sayang

Andainya aku hilang di matamu
Ingatku dalam doamu

No intention to kill

Posted in Uncategorized on November 13, 2008 by izwar

Ive  just finished reading a book by Vijayandran Thanigasalam with the title “No Intention To Kill: A True Story”. It is about  a case which was been given to Vijay. Basically its a murder case. The accused was an indonesian maid with the name Herlina Trisnawati. Basically this book provide you with an overview of a court session and procedure of attaining justice in Malaysia. It makes me understand more about the judiciary system alone. From what ive learned through my foundation of law,  the highest court in Malaysia is the federal court, under it is the court of appeal, and then the high court followed by  the session court and magistrate. Basically, the federal court, court of appeal and the high court is the superior court in Malaysia.

The most fascinating fact was that, Vijay have succesfully doubted the case brought by the deputy pulic prosecutor, through an error made by them, whereby the DPP failed to produce one important witness which was the doctor. The doctor was basically fetched from a nearby clinic to pronounce Soon Lay Chuan as dead. This information is attained trough a witness which was Edmond, but unfotunately  the doctor was not produced to testify about that matter. So according to law this evident is inadmissible, because it is considered as a hearsay evident. Fortunately, Herlina escaped from the death sentence eventhough the circumstantial evidence proved that Herlina was guilty. So, Herlina was convicted under section 326 of the penal code. The federal constitution itself did provide us with the right to be heard in article 135 and article 5. So Herlina faced all the 3 superior court. At last she was free from death sentence. So below is what press wrote about this case.

FEDERAL COURT REDUCES CHARGE AGAINST INDONESIAN

PUTRAJAYA: A 26-year-old Indonesian maid was overjoyed after the Federal Court changed her manslaughter charge for causing her employer’s death to one of grievous hurt using a dangerous weapon.

Herlina Trisnawati, dressed in a floral printed yellow baju kebaya, clasped her hands and let out a soft cry of relief and thanked her counsel T. Vijayandran after learning she would be released in two months since her incarceration since 2001.

Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak Justice Richard Malanjum and Federal Court judges Justice Arifin Zakaria and Abdul Aziz Mohammad unanimously ruled that the manslaughter charge against Herlina Trisnawati could not be sustained and gave her a 10-year jail term from the date of arrest.

“There is no evidence to say that the accused (Herlina) had caused the death of the deceased. The injuries could have been caused by a fall,” said Justice Malanjum, who dismissed the prosecution’s appeal against the Court of Appeal’s decision to substitute her murder charge to one of manslaughter.

However, he added that the judges were satisfied that there was sufficient circumstantial evidence to show that Herlina must have inflicted injuries on her employer, Soon Lay Chuan’s neck using a weapon.

On Nov 4, 2004, Herlina, from Surabaya, was convicted by the Shah Alam High Court of murdering 32-year-old Soon in Subang Jaya on Aug 14, 2001 at 3pm.

A year later, the Court of Appeal overturned the High Court’s decision and substituted it with a manslaughter charge instead.

During mitigation yesterday, Vijayandran told the court that Herlina, who had suffered constant physical and verbal abuse by Soon prior to the incident, had no reason to kill her employer.

He said Herlina had come here to earn a decent living and support her family in Indonesia.

Justice Malanjum then retorted: “She must have suffered from a battered maid syndrome.”

Coffee Tea or Me- sketch presentation

Posted in Uncategorized on October 28, 2008 by izwar

“audi alteram partem”….”nemo judex in causa sua”…..”ratio decedendi”…..”obiter rectum”…. “whatever contra bonos mores et decorum”… “order of cetiorori” … “mandamus”.

OH MY GOD.. there are so much to read. All the maxims up there are playing in my mind.  Im so tensed up. Im not sure whether im adequately prepared or not for the final exam. Seriously i hope everyone would pray for me. This coming final exam make me want to update my blog more recently.

By the way, my intention tonight is to share with you my experience in completing one of my assignment, which  is the sketch presentation. This sketch you see, is being allocated with 15 percent of marks for my English paper. So the best we did try, to impress our dear Madam Zuriani (Mdm Ju).

My sketch members consist of me, Nizam, Fiza, Sabrina, Sarah and Hanan. Only within a month, and with an unlimited number of people, we did crawl to find the right story to be staged upon her.

My sketch members... "wah we are damned good"

My sketch members...

So we have decided to create a story with a multi-racial background. Since we are required to put in a court scene, so therefore we created a drama which was about land matters and a murder case. The story was simple. It is about an owner of a Kopitiam  Mr Leong, which was assaulted by the gangster ( the land owner). The gangster asked Mr Leong to pay him a sum of money in return for  Mr Leong to stay in business. Mr Leong refused to pay, and so the assault triggered his heart attack, and he died eventually. So this matter was brought to court by Mr Leong’s wife Lee Jing Jing. In the court fight, Lee Jing Jing got the land due to a support from a will of the gangster’s father  which stated that, the land was given to Mr Leong. And the gangster was released, as he had no intention to kill Mr Leong.

Drafting the story was the easiest part. The most difficult would be the acting part. Plus setting up the scene was also difficult. We gathered a sum of money, and used the money to buy our props.

painting the props

painting the props

i was doing nothing actually..

i was doing nothing actually..

Our props were simple. We use a white sheet of cloth, make a rectangular shaped hole in the middle, and painted something on it as our background. By the way, we came out with the idea to use real food during the staging. This will make it more interesting, and the act of eating will make us less nervous.

hey nizam why are u raising your fucking hands up? huh

so there comes a time im being forced to paint...

so there comes a time im being forced to paint...

So then we presented our sketch. And these videos below are the result of our effort….But im so sorry that these videos down here are quite blurry, as it is being recorded by a VGA camera phone. My friend recorded it for us.

funny court scene

so there you go…. a part of the act of each scene. Finishing the sketch was a true satisfaction. How people laughed and were entertained by us, make us feel very good. The agenda thay day ended after we presented upon Her Majesty Madam Ju with a cake to show our emblem of thank you to her.

so therefore the group A students live happily ever after.... Hoyeaah

so therefore the group A students lives happily ever after.... Hoyeaah

ENJOY OUR LIFE WE DID…..

ADIOS from me…..
