Go to work or stay at home?

Posted in Uncategorized on October 21, 2009 by izwar

Hey there everyone. it has been quite a long long time, ive not been writing right? . By the way i have finished my foundation program. And I was very sad to leave Kuantan though. I cried a few times. That place are haunted with our memories, I think so, as we’ve been there for one and a half year. I am not sure how Harriz Zaini and Afiqah Asri can stand leaving in Kuantan, because they will be facing the memories that we have had together. They are going to ultra miss everyone. Actually it was a privileged for me, to preside the college as the president. I hope people are satisfied of my service. I learned a lot.

Now i’m in a long long break. So ive been thinking of working. I’ve been searching for one, and i got one. But still I’ve not yet decided, whether to report myself for that job. I was assigned to the customer service department as a sale assistant, with a salary or RM500. I taught it would be a challenging experience if i start it with something very tough. But the shifts are very solid, strict and for long hours. So what do u think? Go for it or just stay at home?Is it worth it? I have 3 days to decide, whether to report myself as a sale assistant of Pacific Kb Mall.

The most important thing to me in friendship is trust. But seldom i see people keep using me for their own good. Then again, they ditch me away when im not in need. They call me to their service when they need me. They even sometimes lie to me, which is the thing i dislike the most. Perhaps im being too sensitive. Just to tell, im actually the new president for my college. It has been quite a challenging week. I’ve made a promise to myself to actually give my best to everyone. A few hours ago, i was visited by Jengka’s student council informing about a program with the community (OPKIM), and it involves the media(RTM). This would be a privilege to have such program being held in this campus. But today that does not matter. What does matter right now, is the MUET result which will be out at 12.01am tonight. This English test would be the determinant of my future career, whether ill be in the Bachelor Legal Studies program or the corporate admin program. Pray for me everyone so that i would get a complete band result. Wassalam

Monthly Updates– Ive been asked to comment on certain issues.

Posted in Uncategorized on February 22, 2009 by izwar

1. First thing first, our student allowances have been banked in to our account. It is RM750 altogether. To draw a conclusion, my account is now one thousand ringgit and something. So as usual campus would be as quiet as it can be, because everyone is out to Megamall buying stuff and things. Same as me, I’ve bought some books, groceries and a few DVDs.

2. Recently Adey have been sending me messages forcing me to update my blog. But sorry to say i ve been busy lately with assignments, tests, quizzes and so on.

3. Yesterday we went to the cinema and watched Malaysian 1st animated 3D movie entitled “Geng”. Starring in it are Upin and Ipin. It was totally fascinating. This is one of the silver screen movie which I don’t bother watching it twice. Congratulation to the director for such an amazing plot. I would say that our 1st 3D animation film is far better than Shrek. It’s funny and it portrays our culture.

4. Ohh yeah, before we hit the cinema we did when to McDonald’s to have lunch. We could see the impact of people boycotting McDonald through the number of their customers compared to KFC. But recently they came up with a notice saying that the Malaysian McDonald company does not support war on Palestine. They exist as as a separate franchise. That is what they say. What do you think?

5. Last week on the other hand, we have organized a friendly match with UIA Kuantan campus. We sent in 2 English team and 2 Bahasa team. Basically one of the familiar faces was Izzat Junid. He was one of the judges for the match. Both our English team won the match, but to make it friendly the final was fixed between Uitm and UIA. So the English Final was given to Uitm. On the other hand the BM B team lost, while Uitm A won. But at the end, UIA BM team won the debate. On the other hand, the best speaker was given to Muhammad Akmal bin Azmi(Uitm).

6. This week, if I’m not mistaken we are going to have a friendly debate against Universiti Malaysia Pahang(UMP). But this time we need to emerge with the Jengka team.
7.To comment about the issue in Perak which involve the falling down of PKR’s government, i believe that a law which restraint people to hoop parties should be made and amended. Basically the 3 ex-PKR members who have shifted their confidence to Barisan Nasional are corrupted particulars, based on their record. So now since they have changed their confidence to BN, basically Barisan Nasional is now a corrupted party. That is what i assume. Looking at the demonstration it is either a voice made by the people, or it is made from a given order of the PKR members. That’s just an opinion.

8. To comment on Elizabeth Wong matter, I believe that it is just a political stuff, to actually tarnish one’s name. It is not supposed to happen. Since Elizabeth’s ex-boyfriend who did this to her, was a Malay, so it is a humiliation to me towards that guy.
9. To comment on issues which happened in Uitm lately, regarding about the disputes and conflicts among the JPK members, I believe that this thing are not supposed to happen. To me organization like this one is suppose to stick to one decision. I classify them as incompetence due to this occurrence.

10. As a matter of fact the inter-foundation debate and games have been canceled. I’m not sure whether this is a valid information. Don’t ask me where i get it from.

11. Even Zat Heikal have moved to level 4, since he considered level 2 as at a state which is not in peace.

12. Besides the issue that i have stated above, i found out that 2 of my friends appear in Remaja magazine. What i know is that karangkraf consulted them through their myspace. They are Din and Faiz Hasnan.

13. Before i forget, lately I’ve been involving myself in the prepaid business. I have invested a sum of RM200, and I’ve been cycling that money for a few weeks. It makes me closer to the people around me. How? Through communication. Stuff like this I classify it as self-enhancement and self-satisfaction At the end of this month, I’ll get my bonus through the sales that I have made. Wish me luck.

14. Deep in my heart I miss my parents and my buddies.I’ll be repeating my MUET paper this April. So wish me all the best.

15. Campus life is filled with challenges. One way to go through with it is to be good with everyone, and being impartial, Insyaallah you will survive.

It is true that time do changes, and we will eventually change with it. But the past and our cradle of life will remain the same. Who we are, and how we were before. We cant change the past. And i do believe most of us have the same past. We go through the same era. Did we? LOL

Bikers in Islam – A mission to save Palestine

Posted in Uncategorized on January 18, 2009 by izwar

Basically yesterday my friends and I went to Teluk Chempedak. But before we were  at Teluk Chempedak we stopped at Kuantan Parade to search for a new handset for Jehan. In a sudden after we arrived at Kuantan Parade, a group of bikers also arrived there. There were hundreds of bike parked at the front of the entrance of that shopping mall. You name it Duccati, Yamaha, Vespa, Comel, were all parked at  the front entrance, and people were crowding that place taking pictures and stuff.  Basically they are doing charity work. They are wearing yellow t-shirts, and they were also passing papers on products and stuff which need to be boycotted and avoided.

vroom vroom..

vroom vroom..

At the same time they set up a small booth with boxes on the table, so that you can donate money, and even at the same time buy t-shirts and flag for the purpose of donating. The money being raised will be sent to MERCY Malaysia, and that money will at least help the Palestinian on medical purposes. Looking at the pictures of children and women bathing in blood, make my eyes red, it makes me feel so sad of them.  At least what we can do is to donate and boycott.  Then again, this “bikers in Islam program”  is a tour to all strategic places in Pahang to raise fund. Later that day, once again I met those noble helper at Teluk Chempedak, doing the same thing, which was to raise fund and to raise awareness of Israel’s cruelty. I was informed that this group of bikers is hitting for Temerloh today, and a new other location the day after that. Even though the news have mentioned that the attack towards Gaza City will be stopped soon enough, but why stop our effort on helping our friend. Perhaps soon after their election, Israel will go on back attacking Gaza. Who know what will happen, they are so cruel. Basically they didn’t win any war, because the people that  they have been killing until today, were not soldiers but civilian. If Hamas wanted to destroy Israel, the best date for attack is on the day of Israel’s election. But not an attack on the civilian, but attacking their military office and stuff like that.

enough!

enough!

I’ve heard people saying that America is supplying weapon and ammunition to Israel. And to stop this, is to bring down America’s economy by boycotting their stuff and not relying on the American dollar. If it’s true that American do care about the Palestinian, for sure TV shows like Oprah or even The Ellen Denegree Show would promote awareness and raise fund towards this issue. But basically, the truth is that they don’t even care about the innocent people who died of bomb, bathing in blood and so on. In such circumstances, I would suggest that we go on donating money, since we are scared to go to war. Such cruelty as this one can only be stopped by emerging military power and to go to war.We cant negotiate much with Israel. I’ve heard rumors saying that Iran was the country supplying ammunition to Hamas. That is what the layman say. Is it true? I’m not sure. By the way peace bebeh.
save palestine...

On the other hand, our trip to Teluk Chempedak was a good one.
a bracelet stall at teluk chempedak

a bracelet stall at teluk chempedak

We got what we asked for. We wanted to swim in the sea, so into the sea we did go.  We soaked ourself in the salt water for quite an hour. And after such a tiring swim, we go on for a “melantak” at a cafe nearby. We ordered “rojak buah” and have such a nice ABC.
ABC spesel... best

ABC spesel... best

What a beautiful day. But at the same time we need to think about our fellow friends in Palestine. Do help them and give them a hand. At least make the feeling of hatred towards Israel do exist in our soul. If you cant stop a person from committing a sin and bringing him to right path, the least you can do is to hate what he has done.

Group D: =)

Posted in Uncategorized on January 13, 2009 by izwar

Oh yea i forget to tell you that my comrades and I was kicked out from group A. We actually need to give space for repeaters to register for group A. So basically today is the second day in group D. At first its quite hard to mingle around. But to adapt we must. Even though there are faces which we are not familiar with, for example Amirul, Megat, Ashrul, Ray, and Faizal. But today, looks like we are getting along. That’s good. I hope that i could like this class, as i did like my previous class. Im totally exhausted today. 8 till 5. Oh my god. Basically critical thinking is quite a boring subject. ADIOS

Kuantan:The first Craziness and Tragedy

Posted in Uncategorized on January 11, 2009 by izwar

So basically now i would like to post a review about my yesterday and my today.  Not much, but it was a kick start for our window shopping, craziness and wandering around. Sort of yesterday a lot of things have  happened. Let us begin with the tragedy, whereby an ambulance was called to get Sani. You know what happened? Sani was actually being brave to help a few couple of people to catch a huge what we call “ular sawa”. Then again upon catching it, the unknown man put the snake in the bag tail first. So basically the head of the snake was exposed, hanging on  the air, so it did try to bit Sani’s arm, but Sani managed to avoid the bite, but one of the tooth of the snake pierced into Sani’s skin. So his arm wounded badly. The wound was deep. Blood was dripping without stopping, and it was everywhere at the guard post. The guards  on the other hand, were acting dumb and was just taking pictures of the situation.  Everyone was crowding Sani. What Sani could say was just, ” Im Ok”. So basically everyone was calling Kak Nisah the College Supervisor, while Amin was calling 999 for the ambulance to come. At other view we could see a lot of people starring from the corridor, and we found out that Naim was rushing down from the 3rd floor with some bandages. There you have it.  Sani was  brought to the hospital and he was stitched, and now he is back with us at Uitm Kuantan.

On the other hand earlier that day i went to town with my friends. Before hitting Megamall as usual we went for breakfast. Di mana lagi kalau bukan Arked Padang Lalang.

nk gocoh ko.. rama sep2 kelate ni. LOL

nk gocoh ko.. rama sep2 kelate ni. LOL

Then the mission kicked off. As usual “jalan kaki la” to Megamall.  We basically moved at a slow pace and under the radar, so that we would not be spotted by the UNIC boy.We did nothing much at Mega. We went to the karaoke box and sang a few songs, and  then again i hit the capcom station. I searched for my favorite spot, bought some tokens and enjoyed myself.

After that, Akmal, Zulkarnain, Fiza and me decided to go to Teruntum’s Ciniplex to watch Histeria, but instead we watched Yes Man. Seriously this movie was so funny. I give it a 4 out of 5. I love the scene whereby Jim Carey was riding the Duccati the most. It was so funny as it was mimicking the masked rider movie style.

the proof of being there

the proof of being there

And one more thing, while we was wandering  around at Teruntum’s Complex Center ,i did also bought this DVD trilogy. Saw 1 2 3 4 and 5.  I have watched saw 1 2 and 3 before. But not 4 and 5, not yet. I know that Syawal is also crazy about these Saw trilogy. So you can borrow from me  wal

during the coming holiday. By the way i would like to wish Syawal Hafriz a good luck in his presidential election at Kolej Yayasam UEM. So that’s all the updates that i can tell you. I need to go now. Hangout and go for lunch. After that have a peep on the Introduction on Malaysian Legal Sytem. Yada yada yada. Tomorrow have class what. 9.am. So chow. ADIOS take care.

I ve been deprived by my own kind. By the term deprived, what i meant  was that i was made an island. Left alone by myself .  It has been for quite several months that i did’nt make any contact with my fellow cousins. When i did open their profiles at facebook  i found out that they have been having parties and gatherings without me.Pictures of happy faces being portrayed.

When i texted Alya. She did’nt reply. I assumed that she’s been busy. Perhaps we are apart due to distance factors. Besides that how can i hangout with my cousins, when i’m in Kelantan, and they are at KL. Ive been feeling inferior to them since birth. Sort of they are cool or what. On the other hand, I’ve been missing you guys so much. So sorry for being selfish of me not to contact you guys. We are family. Family would be first in my list. Then again i found out about my cousin’s myspace. You know what, he is sort of a rapper. But i consider him not so popular. But he has his own fans by the way. I’m not a hip hop fan, so can’t understand his music much. But i tell you, he’s trying his very best to be a good singer. He is well known as Caprice, his real name by the way  is Harris Ramli. Mr Ramli, my uncle is an ambassador. So basically, Caprice have been traveling a lot.

Perhaps you would be wondering why i am in Kelantan, whereby i was supposed to be back at Kuantan. Doesnt matter. Tommorow im going back for real. So buddies see ya next holiday.

The Voyage of Captain Bush: Going Down with shame

Posted in Uncategorized on December 19, 2008 by izwar

President Bush is going to step down from his office early next january, with the installation of the  new president Barack Obama, who is going to replace him. Captain Bush’s voyage from his ship, have been long time awaited by the world due to his policy on the Iraq war.  The Iraq war is being estimated by Bush administration to cost 50 billion dollar .Many Iraqis have suffered, and so do the American soldiers who go to war for nothing. But he leave his ship with some memory.

As we have  all known, 2 days ago we were shocked by a brave Iraqi reporter who threw shoes towards Captain Bush’s head. According to a source, in Iraq throwing shoes towards somebody, symbolizes hatred and insult. So suddenly Muntadar Al- Zeidi become a hero in the eyes of the Arab World. Muntadar’s case was brought to court.  He can, and will be charged for insulting a foreign leader and can be jailed for 2 years.

Saad Gumaa a man in Egypt offered Muntadar to marry her daughter, Amal. Amal is now studying in Minya University and she is 20 years old in age. Amal said that it would be an honour to marry a hero, and to live in Iraq. So there you have it.  The Arab world sees Muntadar as a hero, while president Bush as a dog.

On the 18th of December there was a protest made by an anti-war activist in front of the white house. The activist threw shoes towards their friend, which  was wearing  a mask of Josh Bush with a jail uniform.

At the same time on the 17th of December, a  computer game of shoe throwing  which was inspired by this memorable incident was launched in Paris. The game is called Sock and Awe, launched by a Britain, Alex Tew. You can find the game at this following adress. http://www.sockandawe.com

So basically what i can say is that Bush is so stupid. He got what he deserved for . Bush should not have been to Baghdad, after what he has done to it. The suffering and tears brought by him to Iraq. Humiliation and insult. Basically, I would like to quote my friend regarding this issue.

” Bush visit to Iraq is equal, to a visit made by a rapist to the home whom he has raped” -Adlee Chan

So Bush leave the office with something to remember about. Boo! boo!! boo!!! SHAME ON YOU……

AUKU: Does it make us stronger or weaker?

Posted in Uncategorized on December 17, 2008 by izwar

AUKU basically stands for “Akta Kolej dan Universiti” which applies in Malaysia. We know that this piece of law was introduced and geared by our great former prime minister Tun Mahathir Mohamed during his time as the Education Minister in the seventies. This act was then amended several time to suit the recent scenario.

The motive for this act basically is to forbid university students from being radically involved in politics, with the concern that they can focus more on their studies. But this AUKU does not stop us from being exposed to the politics. Yes according to it, we can organize debates about our Malaysian politics, and we could even fix a time table to meet the ministers or politician officially to discuss important matters. When i say “we”, it refers to university students. There you have it yes we still have space to voice our opinion out. But with a great freedom comes a great limitation. If according to our federal constitution(fc) article 10, gives us  the power to the freedom of speech and expression, and at the same time provided by the provision in the fc there are limitation to it. As long as we do not touch sensitive issues or even encouraging it, supporting  it or contributing towards endangering our national security, than its ok.

Are we that limited to politics? I dont think so, we are exposed to our own election, which is the inner election which take place in every university on earth, as for example in the International Islamic University Malaysia(IIUM) and Uitm. In IIUM  for example they have their own affirmative and negative. As you can see wee are given the power to choose the president for our university. So there you have it democracy plus the application of politics. Talking about democracy i would like to quote Abraham Lincoln,” democracy is of the people, by the people, for the people”.

But basically people are angry about AUKU  because it stops student from being a member of any politic parties. They are free to support any of them, but they are stopped from radically campaigning or supporting these parties, or even any action which could cause havoc or a great danger to our national security. That is why we have many act which limits our freedom as for example as this one AUKU, Internal Security Act(ISA), and Official Secrecy Act(OSA). Ironically at our age now, we can’t be registered as any member of any party either UMNO,DAP, MCA, MIC, Pas, or PKR, or else we’ll be expelled or been applied disciplinary action. So think about it so if you get an offer of money to be a member of this parties. So such law act as a control mechanism to stop people from abusing their freedom. From this control mechanism it will also protect other people. They stop you from causing havoc, so that other  people which are not involved will not be hurt. This is how law ought to be applied. It avoids you yourself from inflicting harm towards you or even other people.

As you can see the law amended is to  suit the government’s and party’s comfort zone. So these are the limitation which are  scared to make us student weak. Are we? In my own opinion, it does not make us weak. Still its not wrong for us to critic our politics or even having updated on information regarding about our favourite party. As long as we keep focus on our study, and dont be a radical one.

I would also love to touch about the limitation of age to be a member of parliament. As we are well informed, our parliament consist of bicameral body, which is the house of senate and the house of representative. According to the constitution, to be a member of house of representative, you need to be at least 21 years old, while to be a member of house of senate you must at least be 35 years old in age. And to vote you need to be registered and at least 21 years old in age. So basically this age limitation should also be considered in AUKU, but still the constitution provides other criteria to be followed by them.

Regarding about the pass issues on this matter, i ve heard that universities like UM use to have a tension, and a havoc have occurred due to it. It was a disagreement towards the government. And Uitm itself have its own story, whereby the students use to take over the campus chasing the authorities and superior officers out of it, until it have caused “akta  174″ to be amended. Basically “akta 174″ is just the same with AUKU, but it applies only in Uitm. Ive googled about this issue but cant find anything. So this just come from words of a few people. We can take this as an example to explain that we have such a strong power to influence or even effect our government.

So are weaker with AUKU? ask yourself. cant answer that. Its almost 5 a.m now, my father’s waking up. so better offline now. Before that i would like to share with you my whale of a time last night with my 3 closest buddiest. Sedan cant join us though because he is taking care of his father. We ve been to the finest wild restaurant which is the Food Village. Situated along the road on the way to the airport in Pengkalan Chepa.

a round river of soup filled with good stuff , and a mountain of bbq

chim chum: a round river of soup filled with good stuff , and a mountain of bbq

So basically about hours there, we hit the road and drop by at MC Donalds to have some Mc Flurry, and then as usual we got our asses to play snooker.

So there you have it…. what a moment. We are all into politics. All four of us love to criticized the government, but not radically. We are so aware with the presence of law. So ADIOS. This is the longest post so far.
