The People’s Voice

Posted in Politic on February 26, 2008 by izwar

Believe it or not, Izwar’s Point of View is not a site which is either supporting Barisan Nasional or the opposition parties. Most of the content in the internet, will be more to “strengthen the oppositions, and to condemned the government” as they don’t have the access towards the TV station. Indeed blogging have become, a medium for the opposition parties.

In my blog ill be writing about what the community feels, towards these politicians. I will not support any of them, either BN or the opposition parties, but may the best win, for this coming election.Vote for the candidate, don’t vote based on the party. The candidate nominated will be the one who will represent the people.

2 days ago, the candidate were named and nominated. Nurul Izzah will go against Shahrizat. Badrul Hisham will go against Khairy , whlie Awang Adek will go against Nasharuddin. At the same time, Hadi will go against Ahmad Ramzi. And yesteday, the Barisan Nasional have launched their manifesto officially.

BN’s manifesto is brilliant. What they are fighting for are very important. But I’m worried about the person who fight for that pose.I’ve heard rumors about corruption and so on. I’ve heard about leaders using the people’s money, for their own interest. All these issue brought up, make me to think twice, to cast my vote for BN- A cashier at KBMC’s Cafe

Those are the few words  which came out from a pure concern Malaysian…

in my own point of view, all the politicians bribe people for nothing! when i say bribe, it doesn’t mean bribe in a sense of giving money to actually gain votes. But, they are actually giving out food at their “bilik gerakan”. If you go to BN, you’ll get nasi ayam, if you go to Pas, they will serve you with sate..haha Unfortunately.. “undi itu rahsia”!!! Keep offering! hopefully the people will vote wisely… vote based on the manifesto and based on the nominated candidate…. ADIOS

Democracy Malaysian Style- its time to vote

Posted in Politic with tags , , , , on February 16, 2008 by izwar

The parliament recently have been dissolved on the 13th February 2008, and campaigns among politicians started abruptly without any hesitation. The date the parliament being dissolved, the number 13, should not be the focus of our discussion. The polling day is gonna be on the 8th March 2008.

What is important right now is, who’s gonna be our next government. Will the coalition of UMNO, MIC and MCA do it again. Let me remind you that, it was BN who won us our independence from the British. But, its not fair if we don’t give the oppositions a chance, and just vote BN due to its past achievements .

If you ask me personally, ill cast my vote for BN because, BN have a lot of experiences in leading this country. But unfortunately, Malaysian have recently been shocked, with a lot of corruption being portrayed by our fellow politicians. The explicit behavior of our fellow government members are totally unacceptable. So… maybe Malaysian are well equipped to now accept a new government. A government which is not corrupted. A parliament which speaks loudly for the poor and for the rich.
“there’s something fishy in our government.”
Believe it or not these are the few words which comes out from our ex-prime minister, after Pak Lah take the lead of this country. Maybe its true that there’s something wrong with our government.”Kalau tiada angin masakan pokok bergoyang”.

In this coming election, suddenly various projects are launched. Why? because they want to attract us to cast our vote to them. A lot of sweet promises are given out… Let us see!! Will it come true.

Recently we see a comeback made by Anwar Ibrahim from Parti Keadilan Rakyat(PKR). Ive seen him organizing the BERSIH rally, which includes all the opposition parties. They demand for a clean election. Hopefully a clean election we will get. Unfortunately, the rally was illegal. So we could see chaos on the street when the FRU took rough action towards the protesters.

Recently ive watched a video of Anwar Ibrahim. What he stressed in his speech are mostly about the rising of the oil price. He believed that during his time, when he was the Financial Minister, the oil price was lower. So one of his fight, is a fight to lower the oil price.

If the general election were to be held today, are the oppositions capable to win enough seats to form a majority government? This is because in recent months, we had seen a general feeling of dissatisfaction on many issues towards the current administration, but is that enough to woo voters to have this huge swing towards oppositions?

So… be prepared !! vote wisely “let the government fear the people” the people have power towards the government”.

A peek on the King’s life- a human being

Posted in Life style with tags , , , , , on February 4, 2008 by izwar

Tonight was a splendid evening. Suddenly i got one step closer to a girl i admire. And tonight the owner of the Four Season, Uncle Teong, invited my parents and me, to a dinner at Lundang’s Four Season . We ate to our heart’s content.

The luxurious of the food is not the main point i posted this topic. Im gonna tell you about our beloved Sultan Kelantan. During that splendid dinner, i heard my father talking ,and telling us stories about the humble Sultan Kelantan. So the truth should be revealed. Because most of us, are scared to go face to face with the Sultan.

“Raja Tonggak Kedaulatan Bangsa”

“Ya Tuhanku, Lanjutkan Usia Al-Sultan Dan Raja Perempuan Kami”

As we are being told…. Our King, is the symbol of unity, and act as the protector of the Islamic and Malays right. Is it true? Do they do that? What i see through my glasses, they are more to attend a function, than to plan for the people. Maybe that’s the policy we’ve been doing for such a long time. In Malaysia, the Sultan take turn to be the Yang Dipertuan Agong. And all our king, is a king which goes according to the book. They do not have any immunity, towards the law. The law is above the “Agong”. At first, in my earlier days, i see the Sultan and the royals as the one who gave burden to us. They are royalty. Where they go, where ever they are, they sort of need a lot of people to escort and protect them. Not to just protect them, but at the same time to baby sit and pamper them.At first sight I see the King as someone who is not punctual. The royals usually appear late in a particular function. They made people to wait for a long time. Waiting for them to arrive, is such a torturing moment. And believe me, each and everyone of us hate to wait. They never asked to be born in a royal family. They themselves are hooked to the protocol and so on. So sometimes, we should forgive them for being late. Maybe its not in his will to actually appear late.

Ok!… let me tell you, my father’s experiences ,in working under His Majesty Sultan of Kelantan. My father was the Kelantan Police Commissioner 3 years ago. And there was this trip to an island, and my father was in charge for the escort and transportation. Unfortunately during the trip, the marine boat loading the Sultan, sort of broke down at the middle of the sea. Luckily, the Sultan was not angry, and luckily there was a spare boat following behind. Thank god…. Anyway, lets imagine, what are you going to talk about ,when you are facing face to face with the Sultan for three hours. But the Sultan was humble… His Majesty was the person who brought up the topic of discussion. His Majesty told everybody about his problem… As a regular human being, he had his own problem. Problems about his salary, his schedule, his guards and so on. We should realized that, as a sultan, his schedule was totally packed. But his schedule are mostly vacation and traveling around. They are more required to give speeches and so on. I would say that, the Sultan of Kelantan is a Sultan which travels the most. The Sultan himself need people to talk to. The problem is, people are scared to talk to him.

My mother used to make a mistake towards the Raja Perempuan, and suddenly she said “sori tuanku”… If according to the protocol, a language like this one, is not allowed… but what Tengku Anis did, was just smile. She was not angry.

Since my parents worked in the police force, whenever there was a function which includes the royal family, my parents will actually came home late. But that’s not a big deal perhaps. I still gain a lot of love from my parents, even though they were most of the time working.

Back to the Sultan. His Majesty is just like any other man. His bedroom, his kitchen, and his bathroom, are not as grand as a king supposed to be. Maybe, you will say, that the Sultan of Kelantan, have a huge palace, but the palace is not for himself. The palace which includes the Balairung Seri, the garden , rooms, and so on are actually, more prioritized to be used by the VIP guests.

So, this is the truth about the Sultan Kelantan….. Sometimes he is a pain in the neck… and sometimes His Majesty, is someone very humble. A simple human being, which cannot run from daily problems =) Adios “A king is not a god, a king is someone who lead and give us good examples. A king himself have a duty towards the god”
