Happy new year!!!

Posted in Personal on December 31, 2007 by izwar

The year 2007 was a tremendous year for me. It has been a year of a stepping stone for a person like me. This was the year of the big exam, and this was the year i started to become active. At the beginning of year 2007 i started to mingle around. Thanks to Kamal, syawal, kua, and sede. If its not for them, i would still be clueless about what friendster is. I was also introduced to chatting, blogging, and so on by them.

Ive been, a prefect since in form 1, and its nice though when you are given a pose in such an organization. I was the secretary for the year 2007. Even though i was not the head prefect, i was satisfied with what i did. Every moment counts. As the secretary, its my duty to set each meeting’s date, and to mail the meeting invitation. In the boardroom once again i will usually jog down the minute for the meeting. I did my best,hopefully everybody is satisfied. Its been nice to work with a group of ppl like this one. The prefects are the one who will always make me happy, when im sad. Ive dedicated everything for this one.

The year of 2007 was also a challenging one ,when i was invited to join the debate team. Both English and Bahasa. Yeah i realized that i was not so good, maybe horrible, but the important thing is, i got something from it. Btw, for debate alone. ive skipped my classes for about a month. A week to UIA, a week to Mallaca, a week to Sarawak, and another week would be in Kelantan. Anyway its a chance for me to visit Sarawak and Mallaca, as we represented the state. haha.. nice one. Debate has now become my main interest, this is due to the knowledge presentation, in a way of people arguing. I would love to continue this in the university level. Hopefully, i will debate with honor.

My sweetest moment:

-handling the benchmark trip.

-A surprised party by the Excos. Once again thank you to kamal, sede, syawal, kua and shazni…. i was totally touched… nice one

-Watching Mr Bean’s Holiday with my fellow colleagues( syawal and che mad was totally excited).

-to fly to Sarawak and Mallaca for the debate championship.

-having a night at Bilik pp with syawal( quit scary but dumb)

- Prefect’s Annual dinner, then the jacuzi and so on.

-Al Razi’s end year party.

-To own a sonny ericsson k618i for a few months

Lastly its about my classroom activity. A lot of ppl did thought me a lot about chemistry,add math, and so on. It did help me in my exam. Good tutoring though. Thanks to those who help.( kua thought me chemisty, so do syawal). Not forgetting my classmate who had helped me go through this splendid year. Thanks for your help.

Its now 10.34 pm, a few hours to year 2008. Happy new year guys!!! its an honor to be a maherian till the end… LOL… nice one… btw thanx for the memories :)

You raise me up

Its 12.04 p.m in the afternoon, and im bored. So i decided to post about a song by Josh Groban. Maybe you would say that this song is old enough and no longer suitable for teenagers like us. But waittt!, try listening to the song ,and understand the lyrics. It has a deep meaning about love and so on. It might also improve your English, as learning English trough songs are more effective.

So, are you a fan of Josh Groban? He is a gifted singer with a voice that is pure. It lifts the spirit and touches the heart. Josh sings in English, Italian, French, and Spanish. Even when you can’t understand the language, you can feel the ’story’ of a song just by the way he sings it. That’s because he has the ability to touch you heart. Its nice though, but maybe his music will not be suitable for those who hate soft tone music. Most of his song would be about love and life.

Here you go the lyrics which inspire.

YOU RAISE ME UP by Josh Groban

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;

when trouble come and my heart burdened me;

Then i am still and wait here in the silence,

Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so i can stand on mountains;

you raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;

I am strong, when i am on your shoulders;

You raise me up: To more than i can be.

You raise me up, so i can stand on mountains;

you raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;

I am strong, when i am on your shoulders;

You raise me up: To more than i can be.

There is no life-no life without its hunger;

Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;

But when you come and i am filled with wonder,

Sometimes, I think i glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so i can stand on mountains;

you raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;

I am strong, when i am on your shoulders;

You raise me up: To more than i can be.

For a moment or two, lets change the mood to a song which is more peaceful like this one. Its one of a kind, its lyrics are what we call inspiring. Most of us nowadays love to hear the loud music more than the soft one. So have a try to hear some soft music. Its nice.LOL

Perdana or YSC fitness centre

Posted in Health with tags , , , , on December 29, 2007 by izwar

A few hours ago which is the evening of the 29 th December 2007, i went to 2 gymnasium in this state of Kelantan. Perhaps i was wrong making a statement saying that Malaysian are lazy(most are Kelantanese which i blame). I ve been planning to go to the gymnasium for a long time. And on that day i went to the Perdana Gymnasium.

When at first i entered The Perdana Sports Complex, i sort of have some difficulty to find the gymnasium. So i took a peek at the signboard, and found that gymnasium. Btw i was shocked to look at the gymnasium’s plight situation. It was dark. The instruments were old and filthy, and not in a huge number. Plus there is no one who supervised that gymnasium. And at one moment there was this one instrument which interest me, unfortunately i dunno how to work it out. Luckily, there’s a man there which was very kind to show me how it works. It feels like not worth it, to pay RM4 for this type of service.

when Adlee Chan arrived, he tried a few of those instruments(juz for a while). Then we decided to leave that place, and we went to a gymnasium(YSC gym) situated in front of the KBMC(kota bharu medical centre). This place is nicer, compared to Perdana. There is also a punching beg when we entered. Suddenly while talking to Abe Ayie, the owner of YSC, Adlee’s father surprisingly registered me for a month program for using this gym. He paid for me at about RM100 for the registration and monthly fee. I would like to thank Adlee’s father for giving me such a treat. nice one! haha

gym1.jpggym2.jpggym-3.jpggym-4.jpggym-5.jpggym-6.jpg

Abruptly, we started training by first cycling for about 20 minutes. While we were cycling, Abe Ayie talked to us, by giving useful tips regarding about health.He urged us to drink coffee before each training, this is to help burn  fat twice faster(caffeine). After cycling, we went jogging on the thread mill with the aim to reduce 130 calories. And that’s it for me that day. It was quit tiring, but fun because we could exercise in a proper manner, accompanied by music. Satisfaction was there.

So, if u r searching for a fitness center, Perdana is not the place, instead YSC is better. Just situated in front of the Kota Bharu Medical Center, and you just need to spend at about RM4 for kids 12-14 years old, while RM5 for men.While women are charged RM4 per entry. If u want to be a member, then u are required to pay for about RM100. RM4o is for the membership, and RM60 is for the monthly fee. Nice one!! haha. For Perdana, please upgrade your instruments and take good care regarding of the cleanliness. People will be crowding to your center if that gym is been given a good care. “prioritize the customer, a good service will be cherished”

Albert Einstein’s Puzzle

Posted in Twisters with tags , , , , , , on December 29, 2007 by izwar

einstein

Everyone would know who Einstein is, because of his afro hair and because of his amazing researched in Physics. Now, i wondered, how many of us out there, have a mind like he does. GENIUS.. Today my brain have been tested to solve this simple problem. If u want to be sort of like the CSI, do please try this.

I sort of got this stuff from my English program. I admit it, its quite puzzling and fun though. True or not, ppl dont even know whether this puzzle is created by Einstein himself. Anyway if you can find the answer to this, then u have a super brain!

_____—–_____—–_____—–

THE PUZZLE

There are 5 houses in 5 different colours. In each house lives a person of a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. Using the clues below can u determine who owns the fish?

The Brit lives in a red house

The Swede keeps dogs as pets

The green house is on the immediate left of the white house

The green house owner drinks coffee

The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds

The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill

The man living in the house right in the middle drinks milk

The Norwegian lives in the first house

The man who smokes Blend lives next door to the one who keeps cats

The man who keeps horses lives next door t to the man who smokes Dunhill.

The owner who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.

The German smokes Prince

The Norwegian lives next to the blue house

The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water

HINT: I arranged the houses in a circle instead of in a row.

Try this out and have fun!!!!

Kelantan Life style- no cinema

Posted in Life style with tags , , on December 28, 2007 by izwar

Just after having a chat with my friends at the hotmail messenger, a question comes out. we asked ourselves, when would Kelantan have its own cinema. Will Nik Aziz give permission for one cinema to be open to the public. The largest shopping mall (called kb mall) have been opened, but no cinema.

Tesco on the other hand will be opening soon. It would be a gold mine for spm graduate to find job vacancies. We the teenagers are now waiting for Pelangi Mall to open. Sadly, it is still under construction. if there is a cinema here, i would guarantee u…. thousands will come. But the Kelantan’s government is very worried and concerned.They believe that this will lead to social problems. What are they expecting? Sex in the cinema!!!or the stripper who strip!!

Yes i do admit, couples will make the cinema a spot for kissing and bla bla. But y stop us from getting a little bit of entertainment. If they do sex, i believe its not due to the cinema. Its due to the lack of education and parenting. y blame the cinema, when its not the cinema who cause all these social ills.

If we say that a cinema will cause social problems like free sex, then i supposed the kb mall should be closed for good, because if u can see there are hundreds of couple hanging out at this hot spot holding hands with a man, who she just met for quite a moment ago . Even my friend do that.Funny though.

So, y restrict a cinema to be open to the public. For god sake, Kelantanese teenagers are bored. There are more restaurants than activity centers. No wonder Kelantanese are getting fatter. Im not offending the kelantanese, but the food there are all sweet. Please though kelantanese, cut the sugar. And hopefully a cinema be opened.

Im totally bored living in Kelantan. The most we would enjoy is playing pool and snooker at KB MALL, and that’s it. Sort of yesterday, i went pooling with my friends and that was wonderful… pom pom pom.. there is also a bowling center there, totally crowded.

This picture down here is not me. But a friend of mine.

pool in kelantanBy the way… look at the picture closely…. u could see, almost all the table are all fully occupied. So popular!! luckily there is this snooker center for us to hang out. LOL

But still i do believe, this life is not all about entertainment. For those who are islamic, i would like to urge you, once in a blue moon let us hang out at the mosque…. do something good.. entertainment will just spice our life… but always remember that this life is just for a moment.

Bhutto’s Death

Posted in International with tags , , , on December 28, 2007 by izwar

After viewing the news about Bhutto’s death(at that time its already the funeral procession) at CNN and Al-Jazeera at the 8 pm news, something went through my mind, asking y would a leader like her being assassinated. Shot at the neck and chest, then followed by an explosion of bomb. Thousands were injured, and buildings destroyed. That would be the worst scenario which could occur.

Then what will happen after this. ??? Pakistan have lost a leader which have the most criteria to replace Pervev. She used to be the prime minister, and she knew a lot. Lets create questions here. y was she killed? Is it because she was beautiful, or is it ppl think that she is not quite a leader, cause she cant speak English properly.Or is it because of her ‘tudung’( the scarf she wore). She never wore the tudung properly like it is supposed to be. She was not supposed to exposed her hair. hahaha But its clear that she was killed during her rally of her campaign. Her assassination is maybe due to the politic factors. Either jealousy, or just to stop her influences towards the community. Yeah its the election dohh.

Then, who is it to blame.??? For sure its not Pervev who shot her. But its possible for Pervev to pay an assassin to do that filthy job. I would rather see Bhutto ruling Pakistan, more than Pervev Musharraf. He is so straight. And i believe he is under the command of the US president. What the US says…that is what he would do. For god sake, y is this country like US love to colonized so much. And y is ppl so scared to admit it that when the US attacked Iraq, it was not to searched on the nuclear weapons like they have declared, but it is instead about the oil. WTF?? If the Arabic League is not scared, this invasion could be stopped.

Anyway back to the topic about Bhutto’s death. Anyone who is find guilty to kill her, should be hang. If its a sniper ,then find tht sniper and give him a taste of his own medicine. Perhaps i would say that the security should be blamed. If the security was tight, Bhutto will not be killed. Therefore, even ppl who blamed US, should also blame the security. For god sake, a leader like her should be given a proper protection like the PRESIDENT of the united states. Put some guards around, cameras and stuff like that. Then tht tragedy would not occur. By the way, 40 ppl have been arrested, and right now Pakistan is mourning the death of Benazir Bhutto.

What will happen soon?? its up to the ppl of Pakistan itself now. And as seen in tv, Pakistan is in chaos. Hopefully, the democracy, will once again be restored. Its up to the opposition party to take this as a chance.(Bhutto’s death is a proof of weakness to Pervev’s leadership). In my point of view, Pervev Musharraf should not rule Pakistan no more. The ppl of pakistan did hate him so much. If they want Pervev as president, then the strikes and demonstration which had occurred lately, will not be happening at all.

I would say.. a cat would die to protect its master from a snake… a soldier would die for the sake of his/her country… and a leader dies to give the best for the community.

the joy of working!!!!!

Posted in Life style with tags , , , on December 19, 2007 by izwar

why would i post this topic as my first post. This is due to the importance of work in our lives. Work is the platform where we get our expenses from. To enjoy life, we need to enjoy the work we do. We will actually face that work for maybe our whole bloody lives.

Some people would say i love my job, but hate my work. Even those who are a ceo in a multi billion dollar company, would still have the thought of hating their jobs. This is because they do not enjoy what they did.

I will give you tips on how to enjoy working. There are all 30 tips, and it must be used and be implemented in daily life. I got this tip from a book written by Denis Waitley & Reni L. Witt. It work for me and it might work for u. But I will only write on about a few tips which would help you the best.

The tips are:-

1. self esteem. Repeat this, ” I am a most valuable person”. Repeat it again.Its easy. You need to see yourself as someone who is valuable. Never say bad things about yourself. Instead always think positive on what people think about you. If there are people who could decrease your self esteem trough words, please do avoid this people. But for some people going against these “bullies”( it could be your colleagues) will indeed increase their self esteem. By the way, to value other people, you need  to value yourself first. Maybe everyone have an icon. For those who are islamic, The prophet Muhammad is supposed to be your example. I used to say that Tun Mahathir is my idol, and abruptly i was condemned.

IN ACTION

a) always greet co-workers, your boss, your subordinates with a smile

b)Be pleasant when answering something

c)always say thank you- meaning that appreciate ppl so that ppl could appreciate u

d)do not wear the label other ppl give u

e)stay away from “pity parties” or gripe session

the second tips will be coming soon, try practicing the first one…. aloha

2.self-talk.Wht is self talk?. Self-talk is by the way talking to yourself. Who would talk nicely to u, if its not u yourself. In each and everyone of us there is a tape recorder.”Your self talk is creating your self image”. There was an experiment conducted about basket ball players. They were divided into 3 groups. One group was restricted to practice, and will just do nothing. The second group was asked to practice as usual. While the last group is asked to shoot hoops in their imagination. And as a result, the team who practiced physically, and the team who practiced in their dream succeeded to increase their performance. Think about it.

IN ACTION

a)Use positive adjective and adverbs when you talk to others about urself.

b)Write a one-page resume of your professional and personal assets

c)Set aside a few minutes each day to visualize yourself achieving and enjoying your most personal desires

d)When u feel you’ve not done ur best, your self talk should be “That’s not like me. I can do better than that. Next time ill try harder”. Then replay the action correctly in your imagination.

These are the tips ive taken from a book. Very useful to the mind if it is practiced. The other tips are all the usual like others would say. Your attitude, goal setting, planning, perseverance, self-discipline and e.t.c.

FROM THE ISLAMIC POINT OF VIEW

Islam urges people to do business and to succeed in life. But Islam also highlighted that the day is the time of work, while the night is the time for rest and the time to perform good deeds like performing solat and praying. In life, everything should be balanced. If we work to much, we would be stressed out. Even a robot would break if we use it without stop.

On the other hand, Islam restricted people to do a work which is illegal. As long as the money we get is halal, then its ok la. Doesn’t matter what job u are doing, as long as it is legal. If the work is not forbidden, u would find joy.

MY POINT OF VIEW

I would hate work so much. Even now i am still struggling to get a job. So many criteria which is still not in me. Anyway to enjoy work, u need to be very closed to ur colleagues. There is time u will need their help. And maybe one day u could share with them your secrets. And my friend always say this to me, ‘when u want something go for it’. And he would also say “redha je lah”… which means its fate. Its GOD will.
